Maria Rosa Galter Maria Rosa Galter    and      Carol Gleason 2018 Carol Gleason

Contemplative Outreach of Colorado will be partnering with Walk2Connect to offer three contemplative walks throughout the summer.

All spiritual traditions hold walking as a sacred practice through which we experience a deeper connection with the Sacred around us and within us.  Walking quiets our mind, releases anxiety, and allows for the unprocessed emotional realities of our past still embedded in our body to move and be released.  Walking can help to root us in the reality of the present moment and let go of attachments and expectations. It can be very supportive and complementary to our Practice of Centering Prayer.  Our contemplative walking experience will move at a gentle, conversational walking pace and offer opportunities to center, listen more deeply, and set personal intentions.

The walks will be led by Maria Rosa Galter, Founder of Walking Inspiritus and Member-Owner of Walk2Connect Coop.  Maria is a graduate of the Benedictine Spiritual Formation Program and facilitates contemplative walks as well as longer walking retreat experiences throughout Colorado.  She is a committed hiker and lover of the outdoors, who believes we uncover our purpose by connecting to ourselves, each other and our earth.

 Cost: $20 for each walk
 When: June 15 - White Ranch Park (2.5 - 3 miles)
  9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
