The spectacular, dramatic and sensational get attention in contemporary culture. Ignatius of Loyola suggests that God's presence comes like drops of water on a sponge, not like water crashing on rocks. His wisdom is counter cultural and invites us be tuned to what might appear undramatic but deeply transforming.

This workshop will explore Ignatian perspectives on discernment and the contemplative practices that can attune our hearts to subtle invitations of Love in the mundane, routine, and seemingly commonplace of everyday life. Our time will reflect upon Ignatius' life story and his writings through presentation, silence and discussion.
